Grants
Signe and Ane Gyllenberg Foundation supports medical and related natural science research focusing on the mind’s significance for physical health. Our funding focuses on two main areas: psychosomatic medicine and a holistic view of well-being. In addition, we support research on blood diseases.
We award funding through the following forms of support:
✔ Research grants
✔ Doctoral grants
✔ Postdoctoral visit grants
✔ Research-related travel grants
✔ Literature publishing for researchers
✔ Grants for anthroposophic professional training and projects
The foundation also promotes knowledge exchange through its medical symposia.
By supporting medical and scientific research, the foundation contributes to new knowledge that advances understanding of the link between mental and physical health, as well as the development of treatments and preventive measures in areas including blood diseases.
The projects we fund not only generate new research findings but also contribute to improved quality of life, more precise approaches to care, and a more sustainable healthcare system.
Through our funding, we aim to enable research that makes a real difference; from early insights into biological and psychosomatic mechanisms to practical applications that strengthen people’s health and well-being.
For us, impact goes beyond scientific publications. It is about creating the conditions for knowledge that translates into practice in healthcare, in research environments, and in society at large.
